This meeting will introduce the Mississippi Department of Environmental Quality’s Clean Air Mississippi Project (CAMP) and provide opportunities for the public and interested parties to be involved. CAMP is an important initiative for identifying measures to reduce greenhouse gas emissions in the state.

The Mississippi Outdoor Stewardship Trust Fund is currently accepting applications for grant funding to state agencies, municipalities, and non-government organizations for wildlife and fisheries conservation projects and nature-based outdoor recreation projects.
The BEAM office is completing the necessary steps to unlock federal funding for broadband expansion across the state of Mississippi. As part of that effort, BEAM must determine if communities have any type of broadband plan. This could be a formal or informal plan dealing with broadband deployment or digital equity (skills training, affordability, accessibility). Currently, BEAM is only aware of a couple of existing plans. BEAM requests a copy of any plans that may exist.
