In the Association’s continued efforts to advocate for suitable 911 funding for county government, The Mississippi Association of Supervisors respectfully requests that each county adopts the following resolution, and issue it to their local legislative delegation. Please request that your local legislative delegation take your completed resolution to the Mississippi State Capitol to share with the leadership for support and passage of a law that increases 911 funding for county government.
NOTE: If possible, please have the local media present when you pass this resolution so that the public will know the urgent need for adequate 911 services.
