MAS Insurance Trust (MASIT)

Claims Must Be Reported to the Covered Entity

All claims under MASIT coverage must be reported directly to the covered entity or County Board of Supervisors. The covered entity is responsible for filing claims with MASIT on behalf of its employees, agents, or other involved parties.

This process ensures that:

  • Claims are properly documented and submitted by the designated representatives of the covered entity.
  • Any necessary internal review is conducted before filing with MASIT.
  • All relevant information is included to expedite the claims process.

How to Report a Claim to Your Covered Entity

If you believe you have a claim, please contact the appropriate representative at the County Board of Supervisors involved in the incident.

If you have questions about this process or need additional guidance, we encourage you to reach out to the County Board of Supervisors.
