MS Legislature Requests Actual Dollar Amount Cost to Counties Regarding Unbudgeted COVID-19 Related Expenses.

Thank you to all the counties that sent MAS your "item list" of unbudgeted expenses due to COVID-19. This information was very helpful to the Legislature. As members of the MS Legislature are currently working towards crafting a bill to provide financial reimbursements back to counties, the Legislature is now requesting the "dollar amount" of your COVID-19 related unbudgeted expenses to date. They will use these numbers to formulate an idea of where to start as it pertains to the actual reimbursement amount. This information is needed by 10:00 am tomorrow morning.

NOTE: We know that some counties already turned in their dollar amounts along with their list of items. Those counties do not have to resubmit their numbers.
