Mississippi Municipality & County Water Infrastructure Grant Program
The funding list for Round One of the Mississippi Municipality & County Water Infrastructure (MCWI) Grant Program has been published at https://mswaterinfrastructure.com. If your application is not included on this initial list, please be advised that the application portal for Round Two is scheduled to open on December 1, 2022. We encourage you to submit any new applications and resubmit your unfunded Round One applications in Round Two.
We have moved all unselected applications submitted in Round One back to “draft” status. Documents and information previously entered into the system remain in the system. If you desire your application to be considered for funding in Round Two, you must log into the portal when it opens, update limited information such as proposed schedule, and resubmit the application. You may also revise/update any of the other information in your application.
In accordance with the guidelines for MCWI, the funding of grant awards in Round One funding was limited to 40% of the funds available. Accordingly, the fact that an application was not awarded funding in Round One does not mean that it has been eliminated from consideration. Based on current demand, our intention is to award all remaining currently-available funds in Round Two.
